Terrell Moore
Fine Art Painter
A professional fine art painter since the age of 18, Terrell Moore has dedicated his life to creating art. Through galleries in Venice, Inglewood, and Downtown Los Angeles, he has championed not only his own work but has provided a platform for countless emerging artists and musicians.
Where It Began
Growing up in Ohio in a religious household, Terrell discovered his passion for art early. That discovery would define the rest of his life. He became a selling artist at a young age and immediately moved to Austin, Texas to get a studio space of his own—a small room where he was surrounded by inspiring artists.
He describes that first studio simply: a small room where he ate, slept, and made art. It was everything he needed.
Building & Rebuilding
As his popularity in the art world grew, Terrell moved to Los Angeles, California, where he owned galleries in Venice, Inglewood, and Downtown LA. These spaces became more than just showcases for his work—he maintained them as platforms for many other talented and emerging artists and musicians over the years.
Then came the fire. A devastating setback at his gallery disrupted years of work in establishing his presence in the art community. But Terrell persevered. He migrated to Laguna Beach, where he now resides with his own small space, continuing to create the pieces you see today.
Back to the Small Room
Although he appreciated his time achieving bigger goals—the galleries, the recognition, the community he built—Terrell found himself wanting something familiar. He wanted to be back in that small room.
And in a way, that's where he is now. In Laguna Beach, in his own small space, doing what he has always done: creating art. It's the only thing he's ever done, and after all these years, it remains everything.
