Tear of the Mother
Medium: Hand-cut stained glass mosaic with iridescent, mirror, and gemstone inlays
Dimensions: 22 x 40 inches (diamond orientation)
Frame: Reclaimed wood in sacred diamond form
โA sacred tribute to the spirit of water. Tear of the Mother is a devotional mosaic in the shape of a downward-pointing diamond โ symbol of feminine flow, earth, and life-giving force. At its apex, a single blue droplet descends from a crystalline white sky, initiating a cascade of movement, reflection, and emotion.
The lower half undulates with fluid lines, moon pearls, and hand-cut lotus blossoms โ each representing healing, awakening, and rebirth. Every shard of glass, mirror, and shell was placed as prayer โ a gesture of reverence to the waters within and around us.
Framed in weathered reclaimed wood, this piece holds the vibration of temple offering, ritual stillness, and elemental beauty. It is both altar and oracle.
Ideal for meditation spaces, healing sanctuaries, or collectors called to the medicine of water.โ
